![]() This time, I never even looked inside because the book seemed to be in pristine shape. In reading, it takes away from the entire experience of finding new “A Ha!” moments. ![]() It’s kinda like the squeaky wheel… it distracts you from something very important *over there* that you totally miss. Upon re-read(s), I’m always startled and distracted by the scribbles and yellow highlights telling me what’s important. ![]() ![]() I have marked up a few of my own and have always been sorry I did. I am very careful not to buy books with highlighting or notes inside, which isn’t easy when browsing used self-help books. I got my copy at a used bookstore, which presented a gift I might not have appreciated otherwise. Singer is a beautiful book, inside and out.
